The Allies are victorious in New Guinea as they repel the Japanese. They thus bring the fight through a series of “island-hopping” offensives using a new ship — the slow but vital LST. The price paid is great on both sides, but as Japanese casualties increase in their never-ending losing battle against the Allied onslaught, their homeland only hears news of their victory being broadcast by radio. We see also just how Japan’s people are suffering in defeat through a very touching scene of a massive funeral at the conclusion of this segment, providing a balance of how universal grief truly is.

Arjun is very angry with his dad for keeping him in the dark for so many years. He has hurt the only love of his life, Arohi, because of DK. He insulted her in front of everyone and made a mockery of her love. But now he has to go and ask for forgiveness. DK tries explaining that whatever he did was for Arjun but Arjun will take none of it anymore. Arjun heads towards Arohis place. DK insists on coming along and gets into the car with Arjun. On the other hand, Arohi goes to her father’s room to tell him everything about her and Arjun. She begins to tell him that she and Arjun fell in love with each other when she suddenly notices that her father is perspiring and not reacting to anything shes saying. She finds him unconscious and panics. She calls Purvi to take the doctors number when Purvi tells her that their father is a cancer patient and this probably is his last stage. Arohi is shattered hearing this. She rushes him to the hospital in a cab and tells Antara and Sur to stay at home. Arjun’s car is also rushing towards Arohis place. Arjuns mind gets diverted due to DK and his car hits the cab Arohi and her father are in. Arjun and Arohi exchange a last look. Back to the present, Ganga Rai is shocked to hear the story. She asks Arjun what happened post the accident. Arjun tells her that that day he killed Arohi. Ganga is shocked hearing this and asks him if he is in jail for killing Arohi. Hanuman carries Ram & Lakshman & takes them to Rishimukh shikhar (mountain). Ram meets Sugriv there & Hanuman tells them to be friends as their sorrow is the same & hence they could help each other resolve it. Ram & Sugriv become friends & promise to help eachother fight evil. Sugriv is in his kingdom & falls from his seat. Tara (his wife) feels this to be a signal that something wrong is about to happen. Bali laughs out & says that he has got a vardan & he is strongest than his enemies. Ravan’s crown falls from his head & Mandodari feels negative about it & she even tells Ravan to be careful. Surpnakha meets Meghnath & he is shocked to see her nose cut. On asking, she says that Ram’s brother Lakshman cut her nose. Ravan’s minister informs him that Ram & Lakshman have reached Rishimukh Mountain. Ravan is happy hearing this. Trijita also informs Sita about Ram reaching Rishimukh Mountain. Sita is relieved that Ram is moving ahead in her search & will surely rescue her. Trijita them tells her that to reach Lanka, Ram will have to cross a sea.Sita again gets depressed. Ravan is happy that Ram is moving ahead & there is nobody to tell him abouit Ravan’s Lanka. Moreover, Bali would also not be friends with Ram as he has also abducted Sugriv’s wife which is a crime in Ram’s eyes.

Ram Laxman reach vishwamitra’s ashram with him. Ram & Laxman guard the rishis maharshis while they are conducting yagya. The two devils Subahu & Marich get to know that Vishwamitra is again conducting yagya, so they again decide of disturbing him. They plan to kill Ram & Laxman thinking they are still young to fight them back. Ram & Laxman strike arrows to them & Marich is flown off by the arrow, seeing this even Subahu flees away. Then the whole crowd of demons (rakshas) surrounds them. Ram & Laxman are unsuccesful to stop them. Laxman creates a boundary of arrows of fire around the yagya place so that they cannot enter it. The devils got burnt to ashes & all got destroyed. Finally Ram strikes arrow towards the demon & yagya is succesfully completed resulting to the birth of three astra shastra which is given to Ram by Vishwanitra. Sita’s sisters inform her that swayamvar will start soon & Shivdhanush is to be lifted in order to marry her which nobody they know of can lift it. Sita gets tensed & prays to Lord Vishnu to come for her swayamavr.
